These Terms and Conditions have been prepared to assist our customers, staff and contractors understand the most efficient and rewarding ways of working with us. Their aim is to eliminate ambiguity and define clear commercial terms for everyone involved with Sticky Fingerz (Deon Becker Holdings Pty Ltd t/as Sticky Fingerz Signage Solutions, ABN 51 158 698 910, Unit 4, 22–24 Lee Avenue, Jindabyne NSW 2627).
Customer-Supplied Artwork and Dimensions
Sticky Fingerz is not responsible for errors or inaccuracies in artwork or dimensions provided by customers. It is the customer's responsibility to verify and approve all proofs and measurements before production begins.
Where artwork has been supplied for production and installation without a site audit, the customer must also supply photos and instructions for reference. Sticky Fingerz is not responsible for any errors, omissions or incorrect sizing in this case.
Purchase Orders
Company purchase order numbers are required at the time of placing an order.
Design and Artwork
Where possible, the customer's colour requirements will be taken into account. In the absence of specific Pantone numbers or supplied match samples, colour balance will be at the discretion of Sticky Fingerz.
When using customer-supplied artwork, proofs, photography or typographical components, the customer takes sole responsibility for the accuracy and technical suitability of those components. Where Sticky Fingerz determines any supplied component is unsuitable, Sticky Fingerz may recreate it at the customer's expense.
All customer-supplied artwork must be print-ready unless design has been included in the quoted price. Where alterations are requested outside the original agreed brief, Sticky Fingerz reserves the right to charge additional design costs.
Sticky Fingerz will supply an electronic artwork proof for customer approval before production. Production will not commence until the customer has approved the artwork. Any delay by the customer in approving artwork will result in a similar delay to the production schedule.
Artist impressions and design renderings created to illustrate proposed signage are not to be considered accurate or binding under these terms.
Digital Print Specifications
Design or specification changes by the customer may require a variation to the quoted price. The customer agrees to accept these variations as part of the contract.
Differences in materials, equipment and inks may cause colour variation, and such variations will be accepted by the customer. If a physical sample is requested, the customer agrees to pay the cost of production of that sample.
Where specific sizes have been provided, Sticky Fingerz must be notified of any changes before production begins. Failure to notify may result in additional fees.
Client Errors and Alterations
We accept no responsibility for undetected errors in a final design that the customer has approved. Alterations requested after a final design has been approved may incur additional charges.
Production Schedule
Sticky Fingerz will establish a production schedule upon customer approval of final artwork. We will endeavour to complete installations within the agreed timeline, however we accept no liability for missed deadlines or delays caused by shipping or other circumstances beyond our control.
General Signage Installation
Where you arrange sign foundations or installation independently, we strongly recommend all work be undertaken by suitably qualified professionals. Sticky Fingerz accepts no responsibility for work arranged or carried out by the customer.
Installation times are estimates. Any additional materials or time required due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the original estimate will incur additional charges.
Where Sticky Fingerz coordinates all aspects of installation, we may subcontract engineering and electrical works to local professionals.
Installation quotes including excavation allow for obstruction-free earth. Any subsurface services, rock, shale or clay encountered during excavation may incur extra charges.
Local government, landlord or road authority permits required for installation are not included in the quotation unless otherwise stated, and are the customer's responsibility to obtain prior to installation.
Vehicle Wraps, Decals and Signage Installations
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the vehicle is suitable and that all surfaces to be wrapped are clean, dry and free from grease, dirt, wax, oil and any existing graphics or decals upon delivery to Sticky Fingerz.
A vehicle preparation charge will be applied in addition to the installation fee when, in the opinion of Sticky Fingerz, any vehicle is not in a satisfactory condition for a quality installation. Vehicle preparation does not include paint chip repairs or the removal of dents, scrapes or scuffs.
Should badges need to be removed, Sticky Fingerz will take every care. Any resulting damage to badges or paintwork may require remedial work when signage is later removed. Sticky Fingerz holds no liability for any future remedial work following badge removal.
Sticky Fingerz is not liable for any damage if required to remove parts from the vehicle to complete the wrap.
In the event that a customer requests removal of a pre-installed vinyl wrap or decal applied by another company, Sticky Fingerz will make every effort to remove it but will not be held responsible for any damage to the vehicle surface during removal.
Sticky Fingerz prefers to carry out installations at our own premises. If the customer elects to have installation performed elsewhere, Sticky Fingerz will not be held liable for issues related to improper installation conditions.
After-care instructions will be left in the customer's vehicle on completion. Failure to correctly care for wraps or decals resulting in damage or lifting is not the responsibility of Sticky Fingerz.
Do not wash the vehicle for at least 3 to 5 days after installation.
Do not use pressure hoses or steam cleaners directly on your wrap or decals at any time.
Do not wash your vehicle with abrasive soaps or brushes at any time.
Always use a soft sponge when washing over or around your decals or wrap.
If any bubbling or lifting occurs, contact us straight away.
Wall Murals and Graphics
Wall murals and graphics can only be applied to suitably prepared and painted wall surfaces that have cured for at least 30 days. Wash-and-wear and Teflon-coated paints may not provide adequate adhesion.
Warranty
Our warranty does not cover damage caused by extreme weather events (high winds, fire, lightning, flood, etc.), vandalism, vehicle collisions, or damage to products that have been improperly stored or maintained.
Pricing
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the price of goods will be Sticky Fingerz's quoted price. Where no price has been quoted or a quoted price is no longer valid, the price current at the date of order acceptance will apply.
All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, after which time they may be revised without notice.
Payment
Sticky Fingerz reserves the right to require full payment in advance. For orders of $500 or more, a 50% deposit is required upon acceptance of order and prior to commencement of any work.
If payment is not made in full by the due date, Sticky Fingerz reserves the right to cancel the contract or suspend further deliveries or services, require immediate payment of all outstanding amounts, and charge interest at 3% per annum above Westpac's base rate until payment is received in full. Sticky Fingerz also reserves the right to recover the cost of pursuing any unpaid amount, including legal costs and bank charges.
Delivery
Any dates quoted for delivery are estimates only and are not binding on Sticky Fingerz. Sticky Fingerz is not liable for any delay in delivery however caused.
Social Media Consent
By placing an order, the customer grants Sticky Fingerz permission to use images of completed work for marketing purposes, including the reproduction of any name, logo, trademark or other intellectual property included in the goods supplied.
